    We have all observed the driver swerving from lane to lane without looking, slowing down and then speeding up for no apparent reason, or sailing through an intersection oblivious to the world around them. "What are they thinking?" you wonder to yourself. When you pull ahead to get out of their way, you see the cell phone at their ear and it all begins to make sense to you.

    It's terrible that Niki Taylor was badly injured in a car accident involving a cell phone, bringing this issue to the forefront, and that so many others are injured by accidents caused by careless drivers, but we must recognize that it simply wasn't the cell phone that caused the accident.

    I first got my hands on Myst seven years ago, I saw the glint of the next sunrise reflect off my monitor. What Rand and Robyn Miller achieved in Myst gave birth to a slew of graphical adventure games and was the best reason to have a CD-ROM drive for a long time. Myst and its sequel Riven were often imitated but never duplicated.
