A starry night has the power to enchant us all. When stars penetrate the darkness, Mystery overwhelms us again. Perhaps this is their purpose - to reignite our sense of wonder: "Twinkle, twinkle little star/how I wonder..."

This summer is a period of intense review of our lives' lessons. In May, six of our eight sibling planets went retrograde! By July 2nd, the two inner planets included in this dance (Mercury and Venus) will have gone direct, but Saturn (the unsentimental, zen-stick teacher) will be added to the backward waltz of four fellow outer planets: Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. This strong reverse movement in the outer regions of our sky speaks urgently to everyone, each in his/her own language, reminding us we are all in the same boat.
Of course it has always been so, but finally it is too bold to miss: The Global Village is alive and ailing; it needs all the heart and soul we can give. For the next few months the current will take us backward, so that we can look again at what Life hopes for us and how we have kept Her out. This will mean Karmic Review Sessions focusing on 1) what our highest potential actually is, 2) our ability to gratefully accept the unexpected, 3) the shared dreams of our generations, and 4) what we have tried to hide.
When Saturn goes retrograde on the 18th, the volume of all these lessons will be turned up to max. It will be almost impossible to roll over and ignore this planetary buzz. Might as well wake up. This is it! Resist all temptations to be miserly - give all. You have nothing to lose but your poverty.
And by the way, there is a Full Moon on the 30th - good time for all those things we do only once in one.

Because of a retrograde turn, Venus will have gone through your house 3 times between early April and early August (This length-of-stay is very unusual for the shy lady) She'll be turning direct on the 2nd, coming through once more. Right from the first days of this month, you are being challenged to come forth with your truth and, yes, just as you have always feared, it is going to ruffle some feathers. But if you don't squander your energy trying to hold yourself together, by the 25th you are going to have more than you will know what to do with. (I'll give you a hint: kick up your heels.)
